Terms
Vault is a tool for recording figures you provide and performing arithmetic on assumptions you choose. It is not advice, not custody, and not a regulated financial service. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for keeping your recovery phrase.
What the service is
Software for tracking assets and liabilities you enter, valuing listed positions from public market data, and projecting outcomes from assumptions you set.
What it is not
Not financial, tax or legal advice. Not a broker, custodian, or adviser. Not a source of market data you should trade on — prices come from free public endpoints and may be delayed, wrong, or unavailable.
Your responsibilities
The accuracy of what you enter. The safekeeping of your recovery phrase and your sign-in credentials. Keeping your own backup of anything you would not want to re-enter.
Losing your recovery phrase
Stated once more because it is the term that surprises people: without your phrase, your figures cannot be decrypted by anyone, including us. Resetting the vault destroys them and keeps the account.
Availability and liability
The service is provided as it stands, without a guarantee of availability or of uninterrupted market data. Liability is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim — which, on a free plan or an early-access grant, is nothing.
